Our Story

SanTranslate was founded in 2001 and focuses on quality legal, marketing and technical translations and interpreting services in Nottingham, United Kingdom.  During the start-up phase we were privileged to have received various support from UK institutions including Nottingham Trent University, UKTI and Business Link.

In the early years, our core services were mainly in Chinese, Japanese and Korean translations. In 2002, SanTranslate grew and won several prestigious awards, including the Smart Award and Shell Young Entrepreneur Award. Both prizes were to celebrate the dedication and innovative approach to the translation industry.

Since then, SanTranslate expanded further, working with translators and linguists around the world, offering professional translation services in over 100 languages to clients both locally, and globally.

In 2010, SanTranslate experienced a significant leap forward in providing a one-stop solution to global clients and increasing its focus on project and content management to larger projects such as DHL, Bacardi, Allied Alliance, etc.   In 2016, we have picked Malaysia as our hotspot for its growing economy and the cohesive multicultural society. The representative office was launched in the heart of Selangor. This move is for us to deal with our increasing number of clients, especially in China, and allow us to create a hub to gather valuable vendors in South East Asia.
